So after a night of drinks with my ex-coworkers it appears that I’ve been living under a rock as I never knew about this site. It’s like most of the other sites that let you watch movies/tv shows but this actually looks decents.
I won the Taylor Made Burner driver today. Not bad - saved myself around 50 bucks from retail. I need to get a decent putter and I should be semi-good to hit a few rounds. I won’t have a Rescue or a wood but I could probably practice using my irons.
Connie / Erick are trying to get me to come out this Friday but my day’s kinda packed because of the Office Friday Fest but we’ll see. Tor needs to heal up his ankle fast so we can head out, and I need to meet up with Thinh on a Monday/Tuesday early afternoon for Druids Glen.
When my brother and his girl came in for his Surprise Birthday two weeks ago - we hit up the top of the Lincoln center. Anyone with a Microsoft badge has access to the cafeteria area on the 28th floor. Pretty decent view from within the Bellevue area. Photos were taken with my T-mobile Dash.
They’re here….my Taylor Made OS2 clubs are now in my possession. Here they are resting in their new home. Next on my list is a TM Driver and TM putter along with either a Wood or a Rescue. Yes….you can call me a TM whore - but hey a brotha’s gotta look good on the links right?
I pretty much had a mini-heart attack as I was trying to upgrade my Wordpress install from 2.5.1 to 2.6. Let me start by saying I don’t have an office right now and I’m typing this with my ass on the floor and using a bed as a desk. Hence my lack of patience being in this room upgrading my Wordpress install.
I’m rushing to move the new bits over to my wordpress folder and I type:
Sudo MV -t wordpress /var/www
I shit my pants when I saw that my dub-dub-dub folder disappeared. After frantically searching my stupid hard drive to see what happened I find my www folder buried in the wordpress folder with the new content.
If you thought this post was boring, wait until I post about your mom….ohhhhh, yeah I went there.
So I just checked out a link Thinh sent over, Golfnow.com, and I fell in love…..with the link not Thinh you sickos.
This site lists out a majority of the courses along with available Tee Times and discounts. Watch out bitches - Imma be tearing up links across the nation….
Sincerely,
Tiger B (hahah thanks Tor for my new Golfing Nickname)
I’ve been talking to a few buddies about getting into golf lately, and I finally bit the bullet. Yesterday I put in a bid for some Taylor Made OS2 clubs, mainly because they’re $399 retail and the bids were around 230. After some ebay watching for most of today, I ended up winning the clubs for $290 - sweet.
Myra and I will be hitting up San Jose in September for a wedding and it’ll be held at the Ranch Golf Club, the course is hella nice and I want my newly purchased clubs to experience it. I’ve also got a few peeps lined up to help me get my game on before the wedding so I don’t embarass my ass on the course.
Hahahaha when I saw this on Geekologie I nearly fell on the ground. I remember hitting up Showbiz Pizza back when we were living in the Suburbs of Chicago when I was 18 I mean 15.. Looks like the original programmers made the band play Usher - Love in this Club and a few others..
If you never had a Showbiz Pizza think, Chuck E. Cheese but more ghetto…
UPDATE: Looks like if you want a piece of Showbiz Pizza history it was on sale on eBay.
11:00AM:
We hit up the Outlet mall to find something for Marc to wear, and meet up with Oliver for our Tee Time at the golf course. Smart ass Oliver told us Tee Time was 11:30AM, when it was actually 12:32PM - Marc booked over to the Outlet mall for nothing.
12:32PM - 4:00PM This was my second time golfing on 18 holes, pretty tite. Met up with Oliver’s baller friend, Tony, who lent me his clubs for the day. Drank hella beer, almost tipped over hella times in the golf cart, found out what “beer bitch” meant, lost hella balls. I definitely want to hit up the links again cuz I sucked. I literally swung 900 times. We ran out of time and only did 16 holes.
REST OF THE DAY We booked over to Oliver’s crib and got ready in 1/2 hr - headed on over to Kylie’s parent’s place to scoop her up. She looked like she lost alot of weight, and found out later she runs something like 7 miles a day.
We hit up a liquor store to grab something to keep us entertained at the party, then rolled on over to the party. Party was tite, Auntie Alma looked surprise (eventhough Marc let it slip that Donna was flying in). Food was good, but DJ could have been better. No transitions, nothing was flowing together, and I wanted the younger peeps to start dancing. I asked to get one song played, ONE song and they couldn’t even get that on. I’m pretty sure I showed my disappointment on the dance floor, but I still acted a fool. The most ironic thing of the night was that both Kylie and Oliver took a shot of the 5 hr energy drink but were the most sedentary.
Had a few compliments on me losing a few lbs, always a good thing. Hopefully I can keep it going again when I’m back.
