Day 2 - Chi-town
July 6, 2008
Tonight is Auntie Alma’s 60th party.
9:00AM:
Breakfast at Cafe Shorewood.
11:00AM:
We hit up the Outlet mall to find something for Marc to wear, and meet up with Oliver for our Tee Time at the golf course. Smart ass Oliver told us Tee Time was 11:30AM, when it was actually 12:32PM - Marc booked over to the Outlet mall for nothing.
12:32PM - 4:00PM
This was my second time golfing on 18 holes, pretty tite. Met up with Oliver’s baller friend, Tony, who lent me his clubs for the day. Drank hella beer, almost tipped over hella times in the golf cart, found out what “beer bitch” meant, lost hella balls. I definitely want to hit up the links again cuz I sucked. I literally swung 900 times. We ran out of time and only did 16 holes.
REST OF THE DAY
We booked over to Oliver’s crib and got ready in 1/2 hr - headed on over to Kylie’s parent’s place to scoop her up. She looked like she lost alot of weight, and found out later she runs something like 7 miles a day.
We hit up a liquor store to grab something to keep us entertained at the party, then rolled on over to the party. Party was tite, Auntie Alma looked surprise (eventhough Marc let it slip that Donna was flying in). Food was good, but DJ could have been better. No transitions, nothing was flowing together, and I wanted the younger peeps to start dancing. I asked to get one song played, ONE song and they couldn’t even get that on. I’m pretty sure I showed my disappointment on the dance floor, but I still acted a fool. The most ironic thing of the night was that both Kylie and Oliver took a shot of the 5 hr energy drink but were the most sedentary.
Had a few compliments on me losing a few lbs, always a good thing. Hopefully I can keep it going again when I’m back.
